We're
also full-time RVers with nine years and more than 160,000 miles on
the road in our motor home and countless more in our Jeep. Our
backgrounds include owning a small business, finance, teaching,
journalism and photography. Travel tours are our business.
We left Florida in our first motor home to look for a new place
to live, only to find that we were enjoying "Seeing the USA" and
traveling full time so much that we didn't want to quit. We
bought a new motor-home instead of a house and are having splendid
adventures touring our beautiful country, meeting new people, and
bringing the “Best of the Best” to life for our customers.
During our travels, we've found many special places that we
return to again and again because they have so much to offer and
always make us happy. It's these beautiful, interesting places that
we're covering in our tours because we love and know them so well
We started with two printed tours of “Cajun Country” and followed
up with our printed “Grand Tour of New England.” With our new
Virtual Tour CD format (“See Before You Go" tours and "Know Before
You Go” printable tour guides and maps), we plan to extend our tours
to even more of our favorite places. We know these areas,
their charm, their character and their people.
Our first Virtual Tour CD depicts the wonders of New Mexico and the
fabulous Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta (undoubtedly the single most
exciting travel event we've ever experienced). We've just
finished our "Best of the Smoky Mountains CD" --- which is
absolutely beautiful --- and are having a grand time in
Pennsylvania, New York, and New England taking more photographs for
our up-coming CDs for these areas.
(New Orleans and Cajun Country are on hold until 2007 because
of the devastation of hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Before Katrina
hit, we were working with the Louisiana Department of Tourism to
develop Virtual Tours of Cajun Country, Baton Rouge, St. Francisville, the Great Plantation Road and New Orleans. Next
year we hope to be there, photographing and presenting the newly
rebuilt New Orleans that we love so much.)
Western Adventures (several for the west and northwest) are are
also in our plans for new virtual tour CDs, likely next year.
